Kasolo's feet are stuck in cement - are his pockets to heavy with money to escape (Part 1)
The question after where the Trinity House money went is why is our CEO Dr. Pius Kasolo still obsessed with cement?
My contacts who hear the subjects the top people of our company discuss are asking why, when the company is losing more kwacha everyday why did we have a second ground breaking ceremony for the Ndola Cement?
Kasolo failed to get the investment after the first ground breaking so why is he having another one?
Also, when the government shareholders have, according to my contacts, made it very clear at a number of board meetings since 2014 that they don't see any reason for more cement to be made in the country, especially after Dangote came here, why are we going against them still?
Even though it is being discussed that we will sell Ndola Lime, according to my contacts, because it is in such bad financial situation Dr. Pius Kasolo still arguing at board meetings held in June 2017 that we need to keep the cement part of our company.
My contacts are very clear that the push time and again for us to keep our interests in cement comes from Kasolo.
So the next question is why?
Maybe because of the nice trip top China to meet with the stakeholders that was taken and then talked about at some board meetings according to my contacts?
Maybe there will something in the way the Chinese partners CHMC will transfer the money to Zambia through a Chinese bank?
Maybe because the big aim at the end of the day is not make cement but money not for our company? It has been made clear to our board many times according to my contacts that the basic diligence done to see if investing in cement would be a good idea has been ignored many many times at the meetings with the board that Kasolo is at.
My contacts are asking another big question, is it because Kasolo has interests in cement through his family companies outside of Zambia?
