Kasolo's failures will lose jobs for Zambians
My contacts who walk the corridors of our senior management offices have so far given me many good examples of where our CEO Mr. Pius Kasolo has made decisions that may have hurt the company but were good for him but today they give me an example that is pure and simple showing that he, our CEO, is basically just not very good at running our company. This example is Ndola Lime Company...
This company has been going down and down from under Kasolo to the point now that it owes K282 million that our ZCCM management has guaranteed as I saw from a statement made on the ZCCM forum.
The situation is so bad that in February of this year the board met to discuss the NLC financial crisis according to the same contacts who till now gave me very goof info. I mean, in 2016 the company went from a loss of K18 million to K86 million. in 2015. What kind of leadership is Kasolo doing???
Since then until February 2017 it even lost more money, another K139 million, according to my contacts in the high positions!!!
At this time the Kasolo led board recognised that if they close NLC many people will lose their jobs and this will have bad consequences also politically. My contacts are telling me for these reasons Mr. Kasolo is trying to put the President Lungu's door.
We know where this story ends thanks to my contacts.
It ends with our board discussing recently that we would have to sell off the NLC. The only part of this Kasolo has objected to in the meeting is also to sell off the cement part of the company, which like I said to you before is very strange.
So, to me this shows clearly that Kasolo is a bad manager with his focus on starting projects that might also benefit him personally instead of focusing on a company of our which works already and employs many good hard working Zambian who rely on their jobs to feed the mouth of their family.
In letting out NLC fail and maybe sold off Kasolo the man who is supposed to look after our jobs is not doing his duty.
It is well known that Mr. CEO and his other director friends have gone off today to talk about the future and sort out the company and we can only hope our CEO puts ZCCM and the Zambian men and women who need their work with this company to live ahead of himself.
