Dr Pius Kasolo: The Thief of ZCCM (Part 1)
So, today I should be at work but.....I'M NOT.
Why? I am not sick, my wife is healthy and so, praises to God are my beautiful children.
You see, I did not go to work today because I am following the example set by the man who is the leader of ZCCM-IH and says all the time he is focused on making the company great for all of us, our CEO Dr. Pius Kasolo. He says he works all the time to save the company but in reality he is just using company time and money to have nice holidays. So, today I boycott work.
Pius expects us to work all the time to try to save the company so he will be able to claim the victory of being like the Christ and the savior but off he keeps flying in his business class seats to London, J'burg, Canada, Dubai and China.
But it is for work, for the company I can hear Pius calling from his five star hotel room. But sorry, I can't hear him because his mouth is full of expensive wine!!
First, maybe the trips are for work but when you work for a company that is owned by a government that needs to take another IMF bailout because we are so poor why do you stay in the most expensive hotels, like in London at the Ritz. And if you do, pay for it your self, don't make the poor guy eating dust down the mine pay for you. He is lucky to have cardboard over his head when he goes to sleep at night, not a big mirror to look at his fat belly.
The second thing that makes us angry is that he disappears for weeks at a time, we don't see, we don't from the big man. It seems it takes him so much energy to have one meeting he need to take at least two days of sleeping and eating room service and then sleeping and then drinking gin and then eating in a nice restaurant to recover!!!
It is interesting don't you think that all of his meetings need to be in nice big and glamerous cities around the world where you can shop and eat and enjoy. We are a mining company. Why he doesn't arrange to have his meetings with his people, make the investors come to Kitwe and Ndola - we have more to offer then Paris, London, Dubai and China!!!!!
Everyone who works for the Giant knows that Mr. P is stealing money from the company like this (there are many other ways, believe me some examples will blow your mind, I will prove it over the coming weeks with my evidences here), we talk about it all the time in corridors, about how our boss is using us and it makes us feel like we should maybe stop work if he does not go! President Lungu, the workers of ZCCM are calling for a new CEO. NOW
